Siesta Key’s restaurants are pleasantly diverse for the small barrier island and thankfully there is no shortage of high quality and healthy food options. Cuisines ranging from American to French to Latin are centered in two areas of the island; Siesta Key Village and near the highway 72 bridge to the mainland. Siesta Key Village has a beach town vibe with open air bars and restaurants, shopping, art and brightly colored buildings –  a can’t miss area of the island to explore whether you plan on eating there or not. The area near the highway 72 bridge is less of an area to explore, mostly a strip mall commercial area, but don’t let that deter you as some of the island’s best restaurants are located there.
