Healthy Food Phoenix Airport Restaurants
Terminal 2 (Post Security)
Think of Paradise Bakery and Cafe as an upscale Panera Bread and Company. There are plenty of salads, broth bowls and sandwiches to satisfy any health conscience traveler. They have smoothies, but it doesn’t look like they use real fruit which is a huge disappointment. Check out the link for the menu which includes calorie information. I’m always a sucker for a good Thai Chicken or Chicken Cobb with Avocado salad. Check out the tasty salad below.
Terminal 3 (Post Security)
TBD: Haven’t found any good options here. Anyone with suggestions? Let me know in the comment box.
Terminal 4 (Post Security)
The airport location of this popular Scottsdale restaurant is a great spot to sit down and get some great food. They have plenty of healthy options (including a few smoothie options) and also some great lunch sandwiches and salads. I haven’t had the opportunity to eat here yet, but if it’s anything like their Scottsdale location, it’s worth checking out! Check out the image below.
Wildflower Bread Company (A9):
This is another Panera-like option that has great sandwiches, salads and soups. Check out the steel-cut oatmeal for Breakfast or the V12 Kale Salad for a full days worth of vegetables. Bonus – the online menu also has nutritional information so you can scout your order before you order.
La Grande Orange is one of those market type spots where there are different ordering stations and everything from pizza and burgers to cupcakes and baked goods. There are also plenty of healthy options and most are vegan friendly. I highly recommend the Kale salad with quinoa or one of their yogurt parfaits, but you can’t go wrong with whatever you chose. They do have plenty of “less-than-healthy” fare so bring your willpower.
Cowboy Ciao (B22):
Plenty of healthy and delicious options at Cowboy Ciao, but I highly suggest the Stetson Chopped Salad w/ Avocado.
